Is there a wedding registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. We will not be having a traditional registry, but if you wish to give a gift, we kindly welcome monetary contributions.

How far is the drive to the wedding venues?
Answer
From downtown Sydney, the drive to the ceremony is 5 minutes. The drive to the Red Farm from downtown is 10 minutes.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
As the ceremony is set to begin at 4:00pm, we ask that you arrive and are seated no later than 3:50pm.

Where should I park for the ceremony?
Answer
As our ceremony will be held in a residential neighborhood, parking will be limited to the street. There should be plenty of room on Green Acres Drive and Verner Drive (off Green Acres Drive & adjacent to the ceremony site).

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, we have chosen to make this event child-free as our venue has capacity limitations. We hope that parents can understand and respect this decision while enjoying a well-deserved night out!

The Red Barn accepts both cash and credit/debit card.

Does Sydney have an Uber service?
Answer
Unfortunately, we do not! However, there are taxi cab companies. The most popular ones are City Wide (902-564-5432), Dynasty Plaza Cabs (902-562-5777), and Overseas Taxi Sydney (902-955-9999).

Tourist attractions within 30 minutes of downtown Sydney: The Big Fiddle (on the Sydney waterfront) Fortress of Louisbourg Miner's Museum in Glace Bay Tourist attractions within 1 hour of downtown Sydney: Alexander Graham Bell Museum in Baddeck World-renowned Cabot Trail (it takes about 3-5 hours to complete the loop) - this picturesque drive has soaring cliffs, endless ocean, beautiful beaches, magnificent hiking trails, crafts, culture, and more. A must see if you can fit it into your schedule.
