Step 1: Complete DBIDS Pre-Enrollment All guests age 18 and over (without a valid military ID) must register through DBIDS before RSVPing. Naval Base Coronado requires this step to conduct a mandatory background check on all civilian attendees for the safety and security of the installation. Go to https://dbids-global-enroll.dmdc.mil/preenrollui/ Complete the form. Please reference the "DBIDS Form Help" tab to fill out the form. After submission, you will receive a personalized QR code by email Step 2: Send Your QR Code Email your QR code, along with your full name, to brett.pernsteiner@gmail.com. This allows the base security team to complete your background check and issue your pass. Without this step, you will not be granted entry to the base. Step 3: RSVP on the Website Once your DBIDS registration is complete and your QR code has been sent, you can RSVP directly through the RSVP tab on our wedding website. Important: Passes are printed in advance and must be distributed before the event. Please complete these steps early to avoid complications.

Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors, however the cocktail hour and reception will be housed indoors in one of the venue’s banquet halls.

Yes! You can book at the Naval lodge ( see on travel tab) while you have access to the base. Guest access passes can be extended from Jan 3-Jan 5, if desired. However, please advise the bride/groom by October 8th if you are staying on base so they can update your base access pass.
The bride or groom will reach out to you to advise if you did not pass the background check. Please note, that the background check takes 30 days to process.
Once your background check has been cleared by the base, the base will issue a paper pass. These passes will be will be distributed prior to day of the wedding, keep an eye on the website for updates regarding pass-pick up/distribution. NO passes will be distributed the day of the wedding.
Passes will need to be picked up off base prior to your entry to the facility. Prior to the event start date, we will update our website with information on where/when to pick up your base access pass.
