Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie preferred: Men are encouraged to wear tuxedos or dark colored suits, while women should opt for gowns or tea-length dresses. The ceremony will be held outdoors, while the reception will be held indoors. Please note that the weather in New Orleans can be extremely unpredictable, even in November.

Are kids welcome?

No. This will be an adult only celebration.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We will be adding information regarding discounted blocks of hotel rooms soon, but you are more than welcome to stay anywhere in the city!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, you will have to either drive or Lyft/Uber to the venue. Southern Oaks is approximately 15 minutes from downtown New Orleans.

What is the dinner and drink situation?

Answer

In proper New Orleans fashion, there will not be a "plated" dinner. This means a hand-passed, cocktail style menu of over 80 different items served continually throughout the night. There will also be an open bar. There will be no assigned seating for our reception per New Orleans tradition.
