As luck would have it, we swiped right on each other, and what followed was a whirlwind romance that took us by storm. Our first conversation lasted a whopping 10 hours, filled with laughter, shared dreams, and an unhealthy amount of cheesy pickup lines and dad jokes. Chapter Two: Racing into Love Our first date was anything but ordinary. We traded the traditional dinner and a movie for a heart-pounding race car driving experience where I, much to Brett's surprise, proved to be a natural behind the wheel and even managed to beat him in a race! To this day, Brett claims that I have not let him forget it. All this to say, that we set the pace for our adventurous love story, quite literally. Chapter Three: From Sunshine State to Bermuda Bliss Our love knows no bounds, taking us on countless adventures to Florida and beyond. Whether it was soaking up the sun on the beaches of Florida or trying not to get seasick on our Bermuda cruise, every moment spent together was a comedy and cherished memory. Chapter Four: Bridging the Distance For almost two years, we commuted back and forth between Staten Island and Connecticut, racking up more miles than a cross-country road trip. We even started a competition to see who could come up with the best playlist for the commute – let's just say my love for Taylor Swift won out in the end. Chapter Five: A Proposal Under the Eclipse On a fateful day during a solar eclipse on Nokomis Beach in Florida, amidst the celestial display and surrounded by the beauty of nature, Brett pulled out an engagement ring that fit perfectly on my pinky finger. It was a moment filled with laughter and love as we embraced under the moon and stars. Chapter Six: Our Journey to Forever And now, as we stand on the cusp of forever, we invite you to join us as we say "I do" at Whitby Castle on June 5, 2025.
