Getting Around the Island

There are several ways to explore Zakynthos. We will be coordinating transportation for Friday and Saturday night, but if you’d like to get around during the rest of your stay, we recommend renting a car. Our wedding coordinator recommended Locomotion Car & Bike Rentals. He's been working with them for the last 3 years and has never had any issues. Link to brochure below. You can also arrange a rental by reaching out to your hotel or Airbnb/VRBO, as rental companies in Greece can deliver the car directly to your accommodation. When you arrive in Zakynthos, we suggest taking a taxi from the airport to your hotel, where your rental car can meet you upon arrival.

Flight

Traveling to Zakynthos (ZTH)

Many European cities offer direct flights to Zakynthos (ZTH). For travelers from Minneapolis, we recently found that flying Delta from Minneapolis (MSP) to Amsterdam (AMS) is often the most cost-effective option, with a direct connection to Zakynthos Island. Of course, prices can vary depending on your travel dates, flight times, and departure location. Alternatively, if you choose to fly into Athens, it's an hour flight to the island on Olympic Air or Sky Express. We recommend using Google Flights to find the best option for your trip.

Olea All Suite Hotel

If you're looking for a more luxurious stay, consider staying at the Olea All Suite hotel. Also, a Marriott hotel for all the Marriott rewards people. The Lesante Blue and Lesante Cape hotels are beautiful as well - unfortunately they do not offer group rates or discounts.

This is the closest hotel and it's only 3 minutes away from the wedding venue/villa where Danielle and Brett and immediate family will be staying.
