Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Sam and Bret will be arriving Tuesday April 28th, however many of our guests are choosing to arrive earlier to enjoy a longer vacation. Others are staying after the wedding to extend their vacation.

Where should I lodge?

Answer

All of our activities will be centralized on the southside of the island in Poipu or Kapa'a. We did not get a hotel block, but there are many hotels, airbnbs, and resorts in the area to choose from.

Do I need to get a rental car?

Answer

If you plan on exploring the island outside of our festivities, a rental car is recommended. Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis are available in Poipu, but it is difficult to get in the more remote areas of the island without a car. A shuttle from Poipu to the Luau and back will be provided.

Parking and Transportation to and from wedding events?

Answer

Shipwreck Beach has a small, free parking lot at the end of Ainakoa street. Extra street parking is also available along the street. There is also free parking at Keoki's Paradise (lunch). We have rented two motor coach buses to and from the luau for our guests convenience. The pickup and final drop off location will be at the Grand Hyatt Kauai at 4pm.
