Part of the San Diego crew, Diego interviewed Bret for his first real job at Active.com. They both shared a passion for soccer, surfing, traveling, and the telling of outlandish stories (just ask him about Bret's interview...). After an epic adventure in Brazil for the World Cup, Diego & his wife Jamie eventually joined Bret up in the bay area.

One of Bret's best friends since high school, Mark excelled at soccer, finance and teaching Bret the importance of being well dressed, well groomed, and most importantly how to approach girls. Luckily some of those lessons paid off and helped Bret score a perfect 10!

Roni and Melanie have traveled the world together. From riding camels in India to downing stein's at Octoberfest, she's a real partner in crime. Melanie is a professor at the University of Tampa and an avid supporter of entrepreneurship. She is wicked smart, totally hilarious and also happens to be Roni and Bret's landlord.

They competed in just about every sport known to man growing up, with the height of their athletic prowess culminating as honorary guy cheerleaders performing to N'Sync during a school assembly along with Mark & Jared

About 8 years ago Roni and Tina were drinking a beer after an adventure run and by the end of the night Tina worked at Bella Prana. Manny was almost not invited to the wedding due to his dominance on the dance floor, but upon remembering his impeccable taste in fine whiskey and giving nature, Bret decided to roll the dice.

About 4 years ago Roni had the chance to join Sherry as a teacher on one of her epic yoga retreats. That began a friendship she will cherish forever. Sherry and her husband Stu have helped guide and support Roni in every possible way. Sherry is a life coach, retreat guru, and a thought leader at Moffit Cancer Center.

Mike still resides in San Diego where he's about to face his biggest challenge yet...TWINS!

Roni met Hannah at a party where they both insisted they knew each other. Hours later they realized it was clearly in a past life. Not long after they made it official and moved into the Bangin' Bungalow. Hannah is a wild child, creative master, and true soul sister.

Jared is another one of Bret's childhood and lifelong friends from Colorado. In spite of all their shared interests; Jared is a doctor of psychology (Bret majored in psych), Jared lived in NYC (Bret lived in SF), Jared played college football (Bret played college soccer), I'd say the most similar attribute has to be their physique...that or their hairlines....but mostly their physique...

Courtney was a best friend in high school and still is today. Her family was even kind enough to have our ceremony at their home. As a teenager, the Howell house was always a safe refuge and place to play. Courtney was at Roni's side for so much growth and adventure together. She is small but fierce and now lives with her handsome husband C Vance and sons Cason and Graham.

Candice is a part of the high school crew and has a sweet energy you can't deny. This tiny instigator gets the party started and her spunk has always inspired Roni. Candice lives here in Tampa with her husband Frankie, son Charlie, and daughter Emma. She's a loving mom and teacher but still knows how to close down the Green Iguana.

Adam and Bret went from rivals in high school, to neighbors in college, to arch nemeses in early adulthood...and by arch nemesis I mean I was insanely jealous of his cool hair, aerospace engineering degree, and confoundingly charming effect on women.

His creation, the Kelp Sushi Joint, will be catering the reception and keeping you fueled for the dance floor. Ron and Toni Sloman taught me bravery, and love, with lots of hugs. They supported me in every way a person can be supported. The apple didn't fall far from the tree since these two are both business owners and love a good costume as well. I also have a half-sister Robin, her husband Shane and nieces Haley and Hannah as well as my grandmother Liz. We are all so excited to share our town with Bret's loved ones!
