The union of Brestiny

The stars aligned that day when Brett donned his lumberjack nametag and flannel. I (Destiny) saw him across the parking lot at Costco in Thornton, CO. I vividly remember shouting, “There is a cinnamon bear in the wild!” I was far too nervous to go up and talk to him when we arrived. It wasn’t until after I got through the store that my sister (Meranda) said it was my last chance to go talk to Brett. I walked up to him and bravely asked, “Um, are you with anyone?” He immediately stated, “No, I’m with Costco.” I chuckled and clarified, “No, I mean, are you in a relationship?” Thankfully, he said he wasn’t. I walked closer to him, shook his hand, and said, “My name is Destiny, and I find you really attractive. Would you like to get some coffee sometime?” We then exchanged numbers and immediately started texting and asking each other what video games, movies, and manga we liked. I was immediately infatuated with him! The first video game we ended up playing together was Portal 2!
