When we were just 13 years old, we met in middle school & quickly became good friends. Both of us had huge crushes on each other, but had always found ourselves missing opportunities. So instead, we were always right beside each other as best friends.

After high school, we lost contact for just about a year. One Facebook post & some flirting later, Josh shows up with a pizza lunchable at 1am. Did we mention he locked his key in the RUNNING car for almost three hours before he realized? We drove 45 minutes to get the spare & have been inseparable ever since.

After two years of dating, and adding a little boy to the mix, Josh knew he wanted to propose. Kayla planned a surprise birthday for her mom. Pulled a bunch of family together, including some of Josh's, for the big day. Little did she know, it wasn't a surprise at all and their moms helped Josh put together a huge proposal. Kayla planned her own proposal and didn't even know! Their son, Kolton, sat in the middle of rose pedals with the ring as Josh got down on one knee in front of their whole family. Of course she said yes!
