When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We’re getting married on July 17, 2026 at The Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort and Spa in Point Lucea, Jamaica (outside Montego Bay). The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm, with the cocktail hour and reception to follow. The Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort and Spa is an all-inclusive, kid friendly resort. Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be at an indoors/outdoors venue. Weather-permitting, of course — we’ll have a Plan B if needed.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. We kindly ask that quests refrain from wearing the wedding colors, if possible. If you’re unsure, dress up rather than down — we’d love to see you looking your best!

Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

Absolutely! Expect buffet style dinner and an open bar. Come hungry and ready to celebrate!

Do I have to stay at the resort where the wedding will be?

Answer

No. You do not have to stay at the resort. If you choose not to stay at the resort, you will have to purchase an event pass to attend the wedding. This pass will give you access to the resort for the day.

Are there hotel blocks?

Answer

There are no official hotel blocks, but don’t worry — you’re not on your own! Guests are responsible for booking their own accommodations, but to make things easier, we've partnered with a travel agent who can help secure the best rates. They offer group discounts and payment plan options if you'd prefer to spread out the cost over time. You'll find all the details on the Travel page.

Can I book with my own travel agent or through the resort directly?

Answer

We kindly ask that all bookings go through our designated travel agent. This helps us keep everything organized with the resort and ensures you're included in our group perks—like discounted rates, room upgrades (if available), and access to any group-only events. If you choose to book outside the group, please note that there will be a $100 fee to attend the wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?

We totally understand if you’d like to turn this trip into a vacation and bring friends or family along — it’s a beautiful spot! While you’re welcome to travel with whomever you'd like, please note that only those specifically listed on your invitation are invited to the wedding events. Due to limited space, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests beyond our official guest list. Thanks for understanding!

Can I take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present with us in the moment. Don’t worry — we’ll have a professional photographer capturing everything! After the ceremony, snap away and share the love using our hashtag: #Turning2Tolbert.
