Our story began with a fateful swipe on Bumble on December 19th, 2022. For the first month, our chats covered all the essentials - mainly Brenton detailing his pursuit of the perfect bowl of ramen, and Sara sharing her love for reading and writing romance novels. But the aleatory conversations quickly turned into something deeper. We realized we shared an incredible foundation: a deep love for Christ and our families, a mutual interest for Marvel movies, and a spirit of competition that keeps us on our toes. The craziest thing? We discovered that we went to the same church (Union Church) even though we lived a whole hour away from each other! So Godly, right? Knowing that, we decided to finally meet in person at the church's annual Pray21 service (where we had smoothies, because Brenton was fasting). The moment we crossed paths in the lobby, everything clicked. It was the start of our very own real-life romance (Hallmark has nothing on this!). And so, the story of B&SK officially began!
