We are very encouraged by the fact that the vast majority of our guests (and the bride and groom!) are already fully vaccinated. Per the CDC's most recent announcement, fully vaccinated people can "resume activities without wearing masks or physically distancing". Masks will not be required at our event, but will be provided. To help ensure everyone's safety and level of comfort: -All events for the weekend (rehearsal dinner, welcome party, wedding, and reception) will be held outdoors to allow for ample social distancing. -We will be implementing a 'comfort wristband' system. The color of your chosen wristband will help you communicate your comfort level with interacting with others and ensure everyone's boundaries are respected. Pink = celebrating from 6 feet away, gold = okay with talking but not touching, and no wristband/silver = okay with hugging and high fives. -There will also be extra tables set up for distancing. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
We have booked a shuttle to transport guests from the Buxton Inn in downtown Granville to the Orchard House before the ceremony and after the reception. The shuttle will start at 4pm. We encourage you to try to get on one of the earlier loops - we will have the bar open for those who arrive early!
Both will be held outside - the ceremony in a tree chapel and the reception in a covered pavilion.
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.
Your love, laughter and company on our wedding day is the greatest gift of all. However, should you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, we are very excited about East Fork Pottery's beautifully and sustainably made ceramics: https://eastfork.com/apps/giftregistry/registry/125271. We also have a few other items on our Zola registry site.
