What date should I RSVP by? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before Friday, November 8th. You can simply RSVP right here on our wedding website.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Do we need to stay the whole week?

Answer

Yes! There are blocked rooms from Sunday, April 20th to Sunday, April 27th. Please refer to our travel agent's website, found in the “Travel” section, to learn more about the resort and room information. The wedding couple will be staying at the resort for the full week. Note that there is a minimum requirement of 3 nights, but every guest is welcome to extend their stay as needed.

Do I have to stay at Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort to attend the wedding?

Answer

All guests are required to stay at the resort and must book directly with our travel agent, Taylor Martz Paffett (Vibe Thrive Travel). Please read the "Travel" section to learn how to book through the designated link. Please be advised that the resort will not allow you to attend the wedding if you do not book with our travel agent.

What is included in the “All Inclusive” resort?

Answer

The rate you pay to stay at Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort includes the room, all meals and snacks, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, most entertainment on the property, and non-motorized water sports. Some activities will require an additional fee such as spa services or private tours and excursions (refer to the “Things to Do” section).

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Beach Formal! April in Mexico has mild temperatures (85°/72°) so please dress accordingly. For men, consider breezy linen button-downs or lightweight suits with closed-toed shoes. For women, it's your chance to wear bright and flowy dresses! Because the ceremony is directly on the beach, you may want to wear a sandal or shoe you can easily take off so you can put your feet in the sand while walking to and from the ceremony.

Will the ceremony, cocktail, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors. The ceremony will be on the beach while the cocktail hour and reception will be in the central garden.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Luckily, the wedding day will take place at the resort!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception venue, where finger foods and beverages will be served during a cocktail hour.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. Please check your wedding invitation for a plus one!

Do you have a wedding registry? Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Answer

Since you're traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! Simply bring yourself, your dancing shoes, and get ready to dance the evening away! However, for friends and family who have expressed an interest, we have created gift registries with Amazon, Target, and Crate and Barrel.

What weather should I expect in Mexico during this time?

Answer

The temperature in Mexico during this time averages in the 80s. It will be humid, but with little rain.
