What time is the wedding?

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. Dinner and dancing to follow.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony (3:25-3:55pm) to park and find your seat. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm.

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed! Please RVSP "Will NOT Attend." If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find that you are unable to make it, please notify Tom and Maddy at itsmaddyandtom@gmail.com.

What date should I rsvp by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 15th, 2024 by going to the RSVP tab in the menu.

Can I bring a date/are kids welcome?

Answer

Your invitation will specify how many seats have been saved in your honor. Invitations are specific and will include the names of the guests and children who are invited. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Complementary parking is available at the venue. Please park in the gravel lot and follow the signs to the Ceremony.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be outside on grass along with cocktail hour. Dinner and dancing will be under a tent with turf. Please plan accordingly as we can not always predict weather.

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is semi-formal attire. Please no jeans or denim pants.

Can I wear white, ivory, or cream color attire?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from wearing white/ivory/cream in order to let the bride stand out on her special day.

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Whatever shoes you feel comfortable in. Please keep in mind that the property has grass, rock, and gravel terrain. Under the reception tent there is turf.

Where should we stay?

Answer

There is a hotel block available to book close to the venue. For more information on how to book your reservation, please visit the "Accommodations" section of our site.

How will I get home?

Answer

We recommend driving to the venue. If using a share service, please note that you must pre-schedule a pickup. Due to the distance from downtown Charlottesville, waiting until the last minute to order a vehicle isn’t usually successful.

I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?

Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, two specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

In order for our guests to be fully present with us, we are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We have professional photographers who will capture those special moments. We will, of course, share our photos with you afterwards. After the ceremony, we would love for you to capture our special day and encourage you to snap away!
