Absolutely! We hope you see this as a shared family vacation where we spend one afternoon promising to love each other forever with you as our witness. Our children will also be with us! The hotel has designated an entire side to families with a swim up bar/ restaurant, slide, infinity pool and grassy area for picnics. Honestly, it’s almost nicer than the 21+ side.
We plan on arriving Sunday June 1st and leaving Saturday June 7th.
Our dance moves can really only be appreciated in a dimly lit room with very loud music. Dancing can be done the night prior if we choose to head into town and take over a local club. We will not have a DJ or dance floor.
We love a good speech! Please, speak now or forever hold your peace.
Yes! On June 3rd, following the ceremony, we will be headed on a bus to Tamarindos for a taco party. Please let us know if you have any dietary preferences so we can make accommodations.
This is just the best way we felt we could gather all of our favorite people in one place for 3-5 days to celebrate love and the commitment of marriage. Looking forward to long walks on the beach, splashing in the pool, and sipping on margaritas with you all.
Everywhere accepts USD and the hotel accepts credit card. For activities outside, we recommend having USD cash before entering Mexico because the exchange rates and fees are not kind once there.
As soon as you exit the airport there will likely be a crowd of people who will approach you trying to sell timeshares and trick you into thinking they are your ride to the hotel. Just keep walking and make your way to the outside shuttle station. You'll know you're in the right place when you are standing in front of the parking lot Corona bar. Yes, they serve cold beer while you wait for your ride outside.
Only for children. Every single meal and drink at this resort is 10/10. However, you can pick up some items at the local grocery store. The Purple bus ($2.00 ticket) picks up directly in front of the hotel and takes you to La Comer. I recommend taking an Uber back because you would have to cross a very busy wide road to get to the hotel as you return.
Great question! The pharmacy in Mexico is on point and they are everywhere. We stopped by one in San Jose Cabo (just 15 minutes away) and they gave us antibiotics, something for an upset stomach, itch cream and more. It's cheap and safe. The hotel also has a medic in house that can do room visits.
You do have the option of buying a house and living in Mexico. It is going to be an absolute dream vacation/wedding so we completely understand if you decide to stay.
We understand traveling outside of the country isn't for everyone and would love to have you come visit us in New Jersey. Just send the dates and we’ll make it happen.
