Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP for all event by July 23rd. This ensures we have enough time to plan transportation, food, drinks, and a seat for everyone!

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

We are providing shuttles that everyone will take to the wedding. Please meet at Vail Transit Center (Eastbound, Vail, CO 81657) by 2:30pm. There will be shuttles leaving the wedding at 8pm to the Vail Transit Center and 10pm to the Vail Transit Center and After Party. Plan on walking to your hotel after the after party. The distances are listed in our travel section.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We recommend cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, jumpsuits, dressy separates, or suits. Since we are in the mountains, lightweight layers are also a good idea for the evening. We strongly advise against stilettos! The venue has a dirt path and a wooden deck with small gaps, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or dressy flats for comfort and safety.

Question

How does the elevation affect me?

Answer

Piney River Ranch sits at high altitude, which can cause altitude sickness (headaches, dizziness, nausea) if you’re not used to it. To help adjust: • Stay hydrated (drink plenty of water before and during your trip). • Avoid excessive alcohol and caffeine. • Consider taking it easy for the first day if you’re traveling from sea level.

Question

Will there be cell service?

Answer

No, there is no cell service or Wi-Fi at the venue. Please plan accordingly.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know in advance when you RSVP, and we’ll ensure there are options for you!

Question

What’s the weather like?

Answer

In early September, temperatures at Piney River Ranch are usually in the 60s-70s°F during the day but can drop to the 30s-40s°F at night. Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a jacket, shawl, or wrap for the evening. There is also a small chance of afternoon rain showers, so keep that in mind when planning your outfit.

Question

Are kids and plus ones welcome?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
