General Wedding Questions: Will there be a wedding coordinator or point of contact for questions?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding coordinator, Aliah Duran, will be available to assist with any questions or concerns on the day of the wedding. Is there an itinerary for the wedding weekend?

Answer

This is Jessica and Brent's vacation of the year, as well as their wedding, so we're aiming for a laid-back, stress-free week. There’s no set itinerary—just plenty of time to relax and enjoy. Jessica might be attending Beach Yoga on the wedding day and might also make a trip to Sawgrass Mills for Disney souvenirs while Brent heads to a Marlins game in Miami. This is all about enjoying the vacation, so be sure to check out the 'Things to Do' tab for activity ideas! Brent will also be reaching out closer to the wedding with more ideas we come up with, and we plan to spontaneously enjoy whatever fun activities arise once we're all on the beach together!

What is the dress code? What should I wear? What about the kids?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Florida casual. Wear something you’re comfortable in—button-up shirts, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. Since our ceremony will take place on a beach, we recommend avoiding high heels! Our wedding party will be wearing a mix of ocean colors—think blues, greens, and sandy neutrals—with a relaxed, Caribbean look. Expect a breezy, beachy vibe! As for the kids, we want them to be comfortable and have fun! Light, breathable clothing is perfect for the beach. Think cute sundresses, button-ups, or fun shorts and shirts. Soft shoes or sandals are best—again, please avoid high heels for comfort and safety on the sand! And if they want to wear a Mickey Mouse shirt, Jessica says go right ahead!

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place outdoors on the beach, offering a beautiful oceanfront backdrop. Cocktail hour will be a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing guests to enjoy the sea breeze. The reception will be held indoors, ensuring a comfortable and elegant evening of dining and celebration.

Yes, please join us at the B Ocean Resort the next morning, Sunday, June 8th between 11am-12pm for a Brunch.

We will be arriving Monday, June 2nd and departing, Tuesday, June 10th!

How do I get around Fort Lauderdale?

Answer

Fort Lauderdale has several convenient transportation options! You can use rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, rent bikes (available at B Ocean Resort), or hop on the Circuit, a free electric shuttle that serves popular areas like the beach and downtown. The Sun Trolley is another low-cost option, and you can even take a Water Taxi to explore the city from a different view. If you're renting a car, keep in mind that parking can be limited in some areas.
