Jena & Grace met in 2015 shortly after Grace & Brent started dating. Jena & Grace have continued to grow closer through their text messages, Facetimes, and visits to Rockford (or wherever Jena & Doug are living at the time). Grace can’t wait to have Jena as her “official” sister!
Bethany Nelson
Maid of Honor
Bethany & Grace met at Starlight Theater while performing in Beauty and the Beast. They became instant friends, like sisters. Bethany and Grace look very similar to each other on stage, and sometimes you can't tell who is who during the shows. Bethany is making Grace’s garter and a robe from the alteration pieces of Grace’s wedding dress.
Lauren Taft

Lauren & Grace met at Roosevelt University shortly after moving in to the University Center in 2011. Lauren & Grace both studied Hospitality Management at RU, usually talking and making faces at each other in classes. Although Lauren & Grace clicked instantly and spent most of their time together, they chose to never live with each other because Grace likely would have killed Lauren with her early alarms for runs and vegan eating.
Emily Nelson

Emily & Grace met through Alpha Gamma Delta at Roosevelt University. After graduation, Emily & Grace continued their friendship as they only live about 30 minutes from each other (Byron/Rockford). Grace usually instigates Emily into a lot of shenanigans!
Meg McCoy
Bridesmaid
Meg & Grace met through the wedding industry, and it turned out that Brent & Meg had been good friends since they were kids! Meg, Grace, Brent, & Joe (Meg’s husband) were on a bowling league together for 2 years (Four Balls Two Gutters). Over the course of the last 3 years, Grace has been very accommodating by providing Meg mocktails during her pregnancies so she didn't feel left out!
Doug Soltys
Best Man
Brent and Doug have been brothers since 1987. Throughout the years of schooling and living hundreds of miles apart, they have remained close brothers and more importantly best friends. Brent is very excited that Doug said "yes" to serving as the best man at his wedding!
Mark Edgcomb
Groomsman
Brent and Mark have been friends since they were 5 years old, and have been lifelong friends since. They both attended Marquette University for undergrad but opted not to be roommates because they likely would have killed one another.
Logan Henry
Groomsman
Brent and Logan have been friends since they started going to the same school in second grade. They remained friends even with Logan's family moving to Florida, Michigan, and then back to Rockford. Logan is known for being chronically late to everything so we are telling him the wedding is on Friday.
Nic Giamalva
Groomsman
Brent and Nic have been friends since the seventh grade. They have played in the same fantasy football league for several years which makes the distance from Rockford to God-knows-where, Illinois seem much shorter with their text message shenanigans. You will likely hear them refer to each other as "Brent-ay" and "Nic-ay" at the wedding.
Jason Wendt
Groomsman
Brent and Jason have been friends since they were both lifeguards at Magic Waters. They have maintained their friendship through weekend trips to visit one another either in Milwaukee or Chicago. Brent also converted Jason into a Packers fan.
