Colorado? Cool! I'm from the East Coast - what should I expect?

We're so excited you're making the trip out to celebrate with us - and hopefully taking some time to enjoy more of Colorado! There are a few things you should know. 1. The ranch is at 8,500 feet above sea level. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate - and be prepared for the alcohol to hit you a bit more quickly than you're used to. 2. Late June in Colorado means that you will likely experience strong sun, a little rain, and cool/cold temperatures all in the same day. Make sure you're prepared for all of it.

Question

I made it to Westcliffe. How do I get to the ranch?

Answer

If you don't think you want to stay until the end of the night (approx 10:30) or you'll be in good condition to drive home, feel free to drive to the ranch - there will be plenty of parking. We will have a shuttle in the form of a school bus leaving downtown Westcliffe around 1:00pm with a stop at the Westcliffe Inn on the way to the ranch. The bus will return to downtown at 10:30pm. You can also drive to the ranch and take the bus back if you have some friends to help you access your car in the morning.
