Last year we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding day until September 4, 2021. Our loved ones mean more than anything to us and we wanted to have a kick ass party with each of you getting down on our dance floor. Because we did not want to wait to become husband and wife, we decided to have an intimate marriage ceremony on our original date of September 5, 2020. We were surrounded by our immediate families at the O’Brien family cabin followed by a party in our back yard. It was not what we ever pictured, but it was a perfect day and we are thrilled! We are grateful for each of you, and we cannot wait to celebrate with our original wedding plans in the Lake of the Ozarks! ♥️

We met on November 23, 2013 at Crusens on War Drive in Peoria, Illinois. Drinks were sent over to Bridget and her friend...Brent introduced himself...Bridget turned him down. He was eventually successful in getting her number and asked her on a date the following day...He was turned down once again. Brent persevered, and we had our first date a couple of weeks later!

On February 6, 2019, we were preparing to close on our first home in Peoria, Illinois. During the closing Brent was even more talkative than usual and his face and neck kept turning red. After we got the keys, we went straight to the house. Little did Bridget know that Brent had been working with our realtor, his mom, her mom, and even the cleaning service to have the house ready for the biggest surprise of her life. Bridget opened the front door to see candles, flowers, and pictures. Brent set-up a few memories from our relationship with pictures, food, and beverages, and it ended with a record playing Dave Matthews Band and Brent proposing! We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
