Question

Since the events are outdoors, what should I bring?

Answer

Weather is unpredictable, bring a jacket. You should also consider bringing sunblock and bug spray of your preference.

What should I wear?

Answer

Pants... Just kidding. Our wedding is a casual, outdoor event and so, you should consider comfortable clothes and shoes. Close toed shoes are highly recommended as the trails are covered in wood chips.

Are you going to go on a honeymoon?

Answer

Maybe. We started a fund to save towards a Disney World Honeymoon. Once we meet our savings goal, we will go on a honeymoon.

Will I need a flashlight?

Answer

Do you have night vision goggles? If yes, bring those instead! If no, we would recommend a flashlight. It will be dark during and after the campfire reception.

Anything else I should know?

Answer

Along the trails you may find some Wild Parsnip and Poison Ivy, these plants are corrosive irritants to the skin. Please try and stay on the groomed trails and within the mowed areas of the camp. We will be near East Lake Okoboji, which is inhabited by Zebra Mussels. Please do not wade into the water as they have sharp shells that may cut your feet!
