Chef Drew Deckman makes some of the best food we've ever had in our entire lives. Some of our friends will also attest to how amazing the food is at this restaurant. The quality of the food and the service are remarkable, but what truly stands out is how affordable the meals are. From the restaurant: Being a restaurant designed entirely outdoors, we are 100% in contact with nature and exposed to our environment, we have listed some suggestions to make your visit much more integrated into the context: We suggest bringing a light jacket, even in summer since we are in a Mediterranean area where we experience low temperatures in the evening. If you are not coming here by driving, we suggest scheduling a private transportation with a local provider. -We do not have a regular public transportation system in our area. -We suggest closed/comfortable shoes. -Check the weather on your reserved date. -The suggested dress code is casual.
Fauna pushes the bar for exemplary food. Some of the dishes might be more reserved for the adventurous among us, however, we recommend sampling whatever your group decides to order. If you're considering going here, just make a reservation and do it. You won't regret it.
The BEST BREAKFAST WE HAVE EVER HAD! You're basically eating in a nice restaurant located on a farm and everything is 100% fresh. The restaurant opens at 8:00AM and we recommend getting there early or at 8:00AM at the latest. It does not matter the day of the week, they are busy. If you get there late, you will wait, but it is worth it.
For those who might be looking for something a little more familiar, Ochentos is an amazing pizza/Italian restaurant located on the hillside overlooking the valle. They do wings, pastas, salads, appetizers, and all kinds of drinks. Their charcuterie board is incredible.

This is one of Amanda's favorite wineries. You can do tastings here and walk around their vineyard.
Small local zoo with a small children's water playground inside. A good place for parents with little ones to go for some cheap entertainment and to cool off in the sun.
We've stayed here in Ensenada and it's a great hotel. It also has a casino for those interested! It's a short walk to Hussong's from here.
This bar originally opened in 1892 and is credited as being the place where the margarita was created in October 1941 by bartender Don Carlos Orozco. He concocted a mixture of equal parts tequila, damiana (Cointreau is used now) and lime, served over ice in a salt-rimmed glass for Margarita Henkel, daughter of the German Ambassador to Mexico.
