Question

There are two different addresses listed for the La Paloma. Is this a mistake?

Answer

No, the resort (Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa) and wedding venue (La Paloma Country Club) are technically at two different locations. However, they are right next to each other and, if you don’t mind a little exercise, you can walk between them.

Question

I can’t get around like I used to, and the resort is huge. Is transportation available at the resort and wedding venue?

Answer

There is onsite self-parking at the wedding venue (La Paloma Country Club), and valet or self parking at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa. Golf cart transportation to and from the wedding venue, as well as all around the resort, will be available.

Question

The wedding starts at 11 and I’m not staying Sunday night. The hotel says checkout time is during the event. What do I do?

Answer

Late checkouts are not guaranteed by the hotel, but be sure to make a special request when you book and when you check in.

Question

What is the preferred attire for attendees?

Answer

Well, the wedding is taking place outside, and it will probably be warm, so please dress comfortably. The wedding is not going to be formal, in the traditional sense, but wedding-appropriate attire is appreciated. For gentlemen, this means slacks and a shirt - add a tie if you’re feeling adventurous!

I called to book a room and they say they can’t find the room block or any info about the wedding.

Answer

Yeah, this one is frustrating. All phone reservations are done through a central call center - they have no idea about the event because they aren’t actually at that property. The reserved rate and “room block” are only referenced in their system for 9/20/19 - 9/22/19. You must reference those specific dates for the special rate for the “Jackson-Archer Wedding” to show up in their reservation system. Be sure to ask for “in-house” reservations when you speak with an agent - they will transfer you to the actual resort reservation desk. You can book extra nights before or after that block of days, either through the call center or through the link on the “travel” page of this site. Please reach out to Brooke or Lenny with any questions - we will gladly have someone from the resort call and complete the reservation for you.
