Maid of Honor
Katie has been teaching me since I was old enough to sit up in a desk and scribble. Starting in our childhood classroom in the basement with Katie as our teacher (which included homework) all the way through medical school. People often say that I am following in Katie's footprints- but when she's done such a great job leading the way its hard to leave her path. I'm so happy that Katie and Cameron locked eyes on the first day of med school and wish them a lifetime of love.
Best Man
My brother Cameron and I have always got along while always staying competitive with each other. Ever since he got me into wrestling when I was in middle school, we’ve been having intensive wrestling matches at any given time whenever we see each other. I can’t believe he’s getting married now and I can’t wait to see how this brings him a life time of happiness with the one he loves.

I am Katie’s youngest sister, and middle kid in the family. I knew I was Katie’s favorite sibling from the start; rumor has it, she named me after the triceratops Dino in Land Before Time. Some may debate if that’s an act of love or one of humiliation, I like to think it’s the former.

I remember the first time I met Cameron, I was in my crib, head laid back on a pillow because I hadn’t developed neck muscles to keep it up yet. And at that moment, I knew he was special. I looked over to that other Furey baby, saw him spit up some milk and thought “That guy's going to be a doctor and marry the woman of his dreams.” So not to be a jerk but, I called it!

Growing up as the only girl with two brothers, my weekends were filled with playing sports and Nintendo. Although I deeply loved my brothers, part of me always wished for that sister bond. When Cameron brought you home to meet the family for that very first time, deep down I somehow knew you were going to be my future big sister ☺️. Katie, you have brought such joy to my family and I am so excited to finally have a sister and that bond I always imagined. Wishing you and Cameron many years of love and happiness!

Being Cameron's cousin we have always been close. From eating Mickey mouse waffles as kids, to wrestling in high school, to my first time getting intoxicated at a UCLA frat party, we've had a lot of great memories. I'm so proud to see him accomplish so much and to be marrying such an amazing woman!

Katie is my oldest cousin by many many years... Katie is a tremendously hard worker but is also someone who likes to let loose, as seen in her all-night dance moves every summer at our Family Fest. I’ve never had an older sister, but Katie (along with Megan and Sarah) has always felt like an older sister to me. I am extremely grateful to be a part of this next chapter in your life, Katie. Cameron is lucky to have you!
Groomsman
I am Katie’s brother, the first boy following three somewhat dramatic girls; a trait I have inherited from them. Despite the distance, Cameron has become the older brother that I never had. Occasionally, I’ll text Cameron about life just to have a conversation with someone that isn’t an older sister, or Bobby. He keeps me grounded. Him and Katie are perfect together.

Katie and I are cousins. Being that she’s four years older, I’ve always looked up to her. She was always my cool cousin with the best ideas and she’s responsible for so many special childhood memories. When we were kids, she tried to teach me how to water ski. Tried being the operative word! I was so terrified of the open water and couldn’t stand up on the skis to save my life. She went and made it look way too easy. I still to this day can’t figure out how she managed to do it without even getting her hair wet!

My best memory with Cameron was when he took me mini golfing, to the batting cages and go-carting. Each time that we went around the track, he would lose and make up some silly excuse prompting me to laugh. It was a day filled with smack talk and laughs just for the two of us. Looking back, this day brought Cameron and me closer together and I’m so excited to have another older brother who fits in so well with our family.

We have our men to thank for introducing Katie and I, but can’t give them much credit thereafter.. something just clicked between the two of us and though she’s been a negative influence on me ever since, I don’t know what I’d do without her. Cameron and Christopher probably regret this introduction, but I have never been more grateful of a friendship!

Cameron has been one of my very best friends since the 3rd grade. We grew up together, played on many of the same sports teams, and both went to medical school in the midwest. I would trust Cameron with my life! But not with my dessert left on the dinner table. The guy can’t put down the sweets. I’m also so happy to have gotten to know Katie well over the past few years. Katie, I’m sorry you’ll have to put up with me for a long time!

From buying our first pets together (I named my fish Cameron), to much needed impromptu wine nights (when Human Cameron would be off studying) and many more rather miserable memories: Katie and I helped each other slump through med school. One of my first recollections of Katie involves her showing up late to a party and yelling at me because she was the only one wearing heels... If she’s reeeeally nice, she might get me into heels for this wedding.

I met Cameron when we were both freshmen at UCLA, living on the same floor of our dorm. We quickly became good friends and pledge brothers at Phi Psi. Over 4 years there were many late night study sessions, parties, and Chipotle runs (and of course Zach's first intoxication). Post-college we remained close and I had the pleasure of meeting Katie through a phone call a few years ago. I am glad there are now two people in Cameron's life to tell him when he is wrong. Super excited to be a part of this celebration and I wish the happy couple the best!

Katie and I met in third grade when she moved to Glen Ellyn. After she quickly learned that surrounding herself around another Katie would make life more fun, we started to become great friends over the years. From coordinating lunch times in high school, slumber parties, and babysitting her brothers while everyone was at dance to scheduling wine tastings, Cameron’s first camping trip and other fun nights out! Even though we’ve been living miles away from each other she’s the kind of friend you pick back up with like it’s only been a few weeks since we’ve seen each other.

I met Cameron during our post-bac program before starting med school. He taught me how to play pool & I remember I was so happy the first time I beat him... until Cameron told me he was playing with his left hand the entire time. Hey, a win is still a win!

The first time I can remember meeting Cameron, he was wearing makeup, and was dressed up like some sort of Mexican skeleton. All kidding aside, I couldn’t ask for a better roll model as a future brother-in-law. Cameron is a very talented, kind, and genuine person. I am so excited he found the love of his life in Katie, and I cannot wait to see what they accomplish together. Congratulations!
