We met through mutual friends during our junior year at Indiana University Bloomington. Brenn had recently transferred from Butler University after two years there, making the move to IU during the pandemic. Chris had already been attending IU for two years. Interestingly, we both graduated from Zionsville Community High School in the class of 2018 but had never met back then. One night in Bloomington, we each went out with mutual friends and happened to run into each other at a bar. We ended up talking for hours—about our families, hobbies, and high school memories—and quickly realized how much we had in common. After exchanging numbers, it only took about two weeks before we went on our first date at Lake Monroe. It couldn’t have gone better—it was truly the perfect start to our story. Since then, our love has continued to grow every day. From graduating from IU together, to moving into our first home, to adopting our dog, Vinnie, and moving again, we’ve shared so many milestones over the past five years. We’ve grown and changed together in countless ways, and there’s no one else we’d rather walk through life with. We can’t wait to continue our journey as husband and wife!
