Answer

We are hoping to have our ceremony outside (weather permitting) so we can all enjoy the beautiful NH fall foliage! Should the New England weather have other plans our alternative ceremony location will be in the barn. Our reception will be held indoors: dinner will be in the tent aside of the barn and dancing will be in the barn

Answer

This is New England so the weather can always surprise us! But typically, fall weather in NH is beautiful. Temperatures can range from 40 - 60 degrees so we would suggest packing layers just in case. Let's hope for a gorgeous sunny day!

We love an excuse to dress up and look and feel our best so we encourage our guests to do the same! Semi-formal wear would be ideal. But most importantly, don't forget to wear your best dancing shoes!!

There is a large parking area to the right of the house. Please feel free to park here, there will be a parking attendant available to help! **Be advised there is a parking area to the left of the house - please refrain from parking here - that area will be used by our vendors!

Answer

Please reference our "Travel and Accommodations" page for lots of great information on this - for the hotels within our hotel block, a shuttle bus will be provided for transportation to and from the wedding venue. SHUTTLE SCHEDULE: 2:25 pm: 2 buses pick up at the Residence Inn Concord 1 bus picks up at the Comfort Inn Concord 2:40 pm: All buses depart hotels 3:00 pm: All three buses arrive at The Winthrop Carter House ***The hotels have adjacent parking lots as the hotels are right next to each other. If the Comfort Inn bus is full, please walk over to the 2 buses at The Residence Inn 11:25 pm: All three buses depart The Winthrop Carter House 11:40 pm: 2 buses arrive at the Residence Inn Concord 1 bus arrives at the Comfort Inn Concord

Answer

We love kids! But due to capacity restrictions (and our large families) we are not able to accommodate anyone not named on the invitation, including children. Any questions about this, please feel free to reach out to us!

Please be sure to let us know of any dietary restrictions, especially any food allergies on your RSVP so we can let the caterer know in advance! You will be able to do this once we send our invites out.
