Months before my birthday weekend (also our engagement weekend) I knew that Tyler had planned a surprise weekend away. We left home Friday, May 17th, 2019 for our journey to Lake Ann (I didn't know that was where we were going until we got there). We checked into the Little Red Homestead in Lake Ann (I would recommend to anyone! Its a beautiful spot). We set our stuff down and left for the Sleeping Bear Dunes. We did the Dune Hike all the way out to the Lake and that was where he proposed. He could barely get "Will You Marry Me?" out before I started crying. The rest of the weekend was filled with celebration, fun, friends, & family <3
