Please bring your golf clubs if you would like to hit some balls, or shank some balls ;) During this weekend, the PNCC has kindly allowed wedding guests to play for $35 for 9 holes, $50 for 18. Please bring cash to the clubhouse. Reach out to Maxwell if you have more questions.
Prouts Neck boasts an almost 2 mile long sand beach, which is very rare for Maine! We call this beach the "front beach." There are two other beaches, the Clam Flats & Ferry Beach on the other side of the peninsula. Please bring your swimsuits, your prayers for optimal weather and a good attitude about dipping in the cold Atlantic Ocean. A baptism of sorts / a true hangover cure.
Take a leisurely stroll around the neck or down any of the beaches. Bring walking or running shoes and maybe you can convince the groom to go on a jaunt (aka a very fast run) with you!!
Beautiful walking trails and sights of Casco Bay & the Portland Headlight. Last time we were here we saw a man taking a photo with his newly hunted turkey for a photo op! Bring your slain birds or simply walk around and enjoy that salt sea air :)
The Black Point Inn is located on Prouts Neck and has wonderful views of the water. Go for sunset oysters and cocktails. Sit on the adirondack chairs on the lawn to view the tide coming in or out. It is probably best to make a reservation if you would like to eat dinner here on Thursday or Friday night!
Open for breakfast & lunch just a stone's throw from Prout's Neck. This new(ish) favorite for Prouts Neck residents is owned by Maxwell's good friend, Henry Wagner. Delicious cookies and breakfast burritos. Also, while you are there please purchase some of Maxwell's napkins.
