Santa Fe is located at an elevation of about 7,000 feet and those visiting from lower elevations can commonly take a day or more to adjust to the altitude. To make sure everyone feels their best all weekend, please drink plenty of water, particularly in the first 24 hours after arrival!
Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) will likely be the preferred option for many due to its size and wider range of direct flights. It takes around an hour and fifteen minutes to drive from ABQ to Santa Fe. Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF) is about a twenty-minute drive from the city center. It offers fewer and less-frequent flights, mostly to other southwestern cities. Direct flights are available to and from Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, Houston, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
