The beginning of our story started with a dating app, Hinge. I will never forget the first thing Brennan ever said to me.."Hailey, I would fight off a pack of blood thirsty wolves in a handicapped stall of Mcdonalds with a shake weight gorilla glued to my forehead as my only weapon, just to have the chance to AOL instant message you over a dial internet connection." Who would have thought that would be the message that would get me to start a conversation with him? The first time we met was at a park where we talked for hours getting to know each other. It didn't take long for us to realize we had a lot in common and enjoyed talking with each other. Our relationship started right at the same time COVID was just starting to close things down so our options were very limited. The following weekend we had what we call our first real date, and it was an all nighter. We masked up and went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner followed by a drive-in movie. We spent pretty much every weekend together after that ordering in, going on long walks, and enjoying each other's company. Here we are five years later, planning our wedding and getting ready to start our next adventure together. A few of our favorite memories <3 -On our first trip together we went on a side-by-side trip up north with one of Brennan's friends. Brennan was attempting to try and show off to his friends and I during this trip and ended up flipping the side-by-side while doing some donuts. Don't worry, he got himself a fresh beer after getting out before helping me get out. He also brought us through a massive puddle in an attempt to show everyone how great his side-by-side was and we ended up going through side ways and I was almost fully submerged under the water. Although I left this trip with bruises all over my body and almost got drowned, we had so much fun on this trip and left with a story we love sharing and laughing about. - When we got our Oakley Boy. We 100 percent thought he was going to be gone before it was our turn to pick since he was the only light colored doodle out of the liter. Somehow we got extremely lucky and managed to score the sweetest dog anyone could ask for. We had so much fun when we went to pick up our boy bringing him to meet a bunch of his new family. - Our Annual trips to Vegas and Florida. We have learned traveling together is where we have created our favorite memories. Every trip we take together is a blast and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives traveling together.
