Our original venue for welcome drinks (Sly Fox Brewing PGH) closed down just after we mailed our invitations! We've found a new spot (Grist House Brewery in Millvale) that is happy to host us! If you're in town, please feel free to join us for a causal beer.
Yes, our dress code is formal. We encourage guests to wear a suit and tie/tuxedo or floor-length/formal cocktail dress.
As much as we love your little ones, children under the age of 10 are not invited to our event. We would be happy to recommend childcare options in the area!
There is a very large lot available for ceremony parking at St. Catherine's church. For our reception, there is valet and self parking at the William Penn Hotel available for the evening. Mellon Square Garage (6ft height limit) across the street from the venue is also available for parking at $8 for the evening or $16 overnight. Another option is the iParkit lot at Forbes and Grant.
Yes! We will have buses to transport guests from the Omni William Penn to St. Catherine's Church and back! Please indicate in your RSVP if you'd be interested in this option. We would not recommend relying on Uber/Lyft to ride between the ceremony and the reception. Renting a car, taking our bus, or carpooling with a friend are the best options!
We'd recommend grabbing a cocktail or coffee at any of the spots in the Omni William Penn - we love the speakeasy bar! If you'd like to venture outside of the hotel, Talia and Ritual House are great restaurant options < 5 minute walk from the reception venue.
