Question

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

You will be flying into San Jose del Cabo (SJD), where you will have the option of renting a car and driving there yourself (about 1 hour). Or you may use a shuttle service accessed as you exit the airport. The price is $180-$200 both ways, and the cars fit anywhere from 6-8 people. So it would be ideal to coordinate arriving at the same time with a group to share the cost of the van. Should I bring cash?

Answer

We recommend bringing some cash, most places take credit cards though. There is no need to exchange at the airport as the rate is not great. There is also an ATM at the OXXO on the beach nearby, and at the airport.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Highs will be around 86 degrees F, with lows around 79 degrees F. Cerritos is an arid climate, however it can rain from time to time in September, so a light rain jacket is recommended. The water temperature will average around 83-84 degrees F, basically bath water, perfect for swimming and surfing!

Can I drink the tap water?

Answer

NO! Do NOT drink the tap water, do not brush your teeth with it either. There will be bottled water in your rooms for this purpose. There is also an OXXO convenience store in walking distance with plenty of large jugs of water for a very low affordable price.

What activities are there?

Answer

There is a beautiful pool and two hot tubs on property that stay open as late as we like, we rented the whole place so we do not have a curfew ;) The property is right on the ocean with a beautiful soft sand beach, tons of swimming and waves. Boogie boards and surf boards are available for daily rental. Surf lessons are also available, and a few beach volleyball courts. Next to the property there are a few fun bars and restaurants you can also walk to. There is also a lovely town called Todos Santos that is about a 20 minute drive, we highly recommend checking it out, it is worth a visit for shopping, art, food culture etc.

Room service?

Answer

The restaurant bar is open from 8 am to 9 pm, you will not be able to charge food or drink to your room. You must check out with them directly.

Room amenities?

Answer

Your rooms will have a mini fridge, and a coffee maker. Some of the larger rooms have a kitchen/stove top. Some of them also have a microwave.

Just down the beach there is a Pharmacia available where you can purchase sunscreen.
