Our Story
We knew each other while we were both grad students at CSU. I knew Octavio as the friendly Brazilian who ALWAYS said hi and Octavio knew me as the girl that would stare at him in the halls. Through a mutual friend we got to know each other more and starting dating on April 7th, 2018. We both bonded very quickly and moved into our first rental home in October, 2018 and got Lobo! We have been very inseparable ever since. I have been to Brazil twice and met his family many times and Octavio has been to California several times. We got engaged on my birthday on December 23rd, 2019 in front of my family. After dinner everyone sang happy birthday and after that Octavio sang me a song in Portuguese and asked “Do you want to marry me?”. We are so excited to be able to celebrate our love for each other in front of so many people that mean so much to us. I think pictures always tell a more interesting story, so here is the picture story of us!
