FAQs

Question

What can we do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

There are so many fun things to do in the Des Moines area. Check out our "Things to do" tab to see our favorite places to go! There are also so many great food places around the church. If you don't feel like going anywhere in-between, you can head to the reception location where there will be yard games and tables to sit. There will not be any food or drink until 5 PM.

Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 20th. If you cannot attend, we will miss you and would appreciate you letting me know at your earliest convenience.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Of course! We are excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people, big and small! If your child or children were not included in the RSVP, please reach out to Brenna or Nathan and we will add them to our guest list. (402) 213-2077

Question

What Should I wear?

Answer

Dress code is semi formal attire. We’d love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Check out our "What to wear" page for some inspiration! We kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride - whites, ivories and creams.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Due to us having an intimate moment together and with God, we are having an “unplugged” ceremony, so please no phones or cameras in use until the reception. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do.” After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you’d like!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Of course! If you don't have a plus one on your invite, please text Brenna with the name of who you are bringing. (402) 213-2077

Question

If I buy a gift off the registry and it is from amazon, how do we get it to you?

Answer

If you want to ship it directly to us, our home address is 810 SE Willowbrook Dr, Waukee 50263 or you can ship it to your home and bring it along to the wedding. Cheers!
