And the Two Shall Become One

HIS The first time we met was at Brenna's sister, Brooke’s, apartment in New Braunfels. My best friend Jonathan and Brooke were going to be married soon, so Brenna needed to measure me for my suit to wear at their wedding. Don't get excited yet, nothing really happened there but I was a little intrigued! Fast forward to the wedding and I’m the best man, while Brenna was a bridesmaid. It wasn't until that night when I got to spend some time with Brenna and her family and got to know her a little more. I fell in love with her kind and bright demeanor, and her unstoppable energy! Also, it didn’t hurt that she’s gorgeous. Needless to say, I really enjoyed her company and wondered if I’d get another chance to see her again. Over the next few months the now-married Brooke and Jonathan kept inviting both of us to hang out with them and I was really trying hard to gauge her interest. I was enamored but I didn’t show it yet. I finally realized I’d just have to ask to be sure, so after two months of figuring out how to ask a girl out on a date, I asked Brenna out to coffee the next week! However, at the spur of the moment, our first date actually ended up being two days later on Aug 6th, 2023! We still went and got that coffee though, and many more since then! HERS It was late April last year, just a few weeks before my sisters wedding. I had offered to take charge of the groomsmen’s suits and measurements, so I met Jack for the very first time at my sisters apartment to take his suit measurements! I was actually looking forward to meeting my (soon to be) brother in laws best friend. Would he be a nerd? A weirdie? Awkward? No… At the pleasant observation of my best friend and I, he was polite and very good looking😂 We didn’t see each other again until the wedding day. I was a little too busy during the wedding to hang out with him but afterwards we had a chance to get acquainted. I had been busy helping put a wedding together so didn’t think much of him until we spent hours together afterwards. Jack and my family stayed at the venues airBnB . He made himself at home visiting with my family and friends. I was quickly impressed with his attitude, involvement and demeanor. Our in common relationship with Brooke (my sister) and his best friend (Brookes husband Jonathan) made it possible for us to spend more time together in the following months. I became more interested in him and evidently he was becoming more interested in me :) until he asked me to coffee in August of last year. We’ve been inseparable ever since❤️
