Garden/Cocktail Attire: Wear floral prints, suits or pants in lighter hues or cocktail dresses and dark suits.
Come at 3:30pm and find the best seat. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM. Parking is not directly by the site, but located up the hill. (100 45th St, Des Moines, IA 50312) This ceremony is 15 minutes away from the reception. The cocktail hour won't start serving until 5pm. Enjoy the park in the meantime before heading over to the Iowa Tap Room.

Cocktail Hour The drinks start flowing at 5:00 PM! We’ll be serving a variety of options including everything on tap (beer and a local cider), two handcrafted signature cocktails, and a selection of wines. If you’re craving something beyond what’s provided, feel free to visit the bar—those extras will be on you. Cheers! Dinner & Dessert Details We’re excited to share a delicious double entrée buffet with you, featuring Blackened Chicken Alfredo and Herb-Crusted Sliced Sirloin. Accompaniments include warm rolls, two fresh salads, two savory sides, and a seasonal vegetable option. And of course, save room for dessert—there will be plenty of sweet treats made with love by yours truly, available after dinner. We rented this event space to hang out before you all head back home. This space has lawn games and pickleball. Bring your comfy clothes and shoes if you want to play! We have a court rented out and an area for us to play games. They have food and drinks available for purchase.
