Brendon decided to join dragonboat for the first time in 2017. When he first started, he met Ylang who did dragonboating for a long time. At first, Brendon found Ylang to be peculiar and interesting mainly because she was the only girl in the team who made manly grunts while paddling. Soon after, Brendon mustered up the courage to ask Ylang out on a date and a few months later... Ylang accepted.
