Getting to Mona Farm from Canberra Airport (Public Transport Option) For guests flying into Canberra Airport (CBR), it is possible to reach Mona Farm by bus and walking. Please note this option is longer and less convenient than driving. Example Route (~2 hr 30 min): Walk to Canberra Airport Bus Stop ~450 m from the terminal (about 6 minutes). Bus to Canberra City Interchange (Bus 3) Depart from Canberra Airport Duration: ~23 minutes (12 stops) Arrive at City Interchange, Platform 1 Walk to Jolimont Tourist Centre ~2 minutes on foot Bus to Braidwood (Bus MCS Narooma Plaza / Princes Hwy) Depart from Jolimont Tourist Centre Duration: ~1 hr 25 minutes (4 stops) Arrive at Wallace St at Wilson St, Braidwood Walk to Mona Farm ~1.6 km / 21 minutes on foot Arrive at 140 Little River Rd, Braidwood NSW 2622 Important Notes: This route includes a final walk from Braidwood town centre to the venue. Self-drive or rental car is strongly recommended for convenience. No taxis, rideshares, or public transport are available directly to the venue. Driving or a rental car is strongly recommended. Driving is the easiest and most convenient way to reach the venue. There is ample parking onsite, and no taxis or rideshare services are available for the final leg if you stay off-site.
Travel Note
Driving to Mona Farm from the Gold Coast For guests driving from the Gold Coast, Queensland, the journey to Mona Farm is approximately 1,120 km and takes around 11 hours 40 minutes. Your destination is in a different time zone and will include tolls. Driving or Car hire is the most convenient option for guests from the Gold Coast, as public transport is not practical for this distance. There is ample parking onsite at Mona Farm.

On-site accommodation is available at the venue, and we highly recommend letting us know if you wish to stay on site so you can fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the venue, and the entire experience. Our wedding planner has reserved the on-site accommodation exclusively for our guests for up to eight months prior to the wedding. After this time, any remaining rooms will be released to the public. There are hotels available off-site; however, please note that the venue is very remote and there are no taxis, rideshare services, or public transport available. Transfers cannot be arranged unless you organise your own vehicle. If you would like to stay on site, our planner is happy to arrange the booking on your behalf and will invoice you separately. Please let us know as early as possible if you are interested, as availability is limited.

Sleeping up to 10 guests, The Gardener's Cottage is a charming weatherboard cottage located in the heart of Braidwood. Walking distance from the town’s antique shops, cafes and country pubs, this is the perfect destination for a weekend in the country.
