As the sappiest romance writer of all time, Nicholas Sparks, famously put into words “Every great love begins with a great story." Our story began in the kitchen of a San Diego restaurant rolling silverware long into the night. Neither Brendon nor I were looking for romance at the time we met. However, it didn’t take long for our friendship to evolve into quite the love affair. We knew things were starting to heat up when Brendon agreed to do hot yoga classes and go on extra long walks (something we later found out he isn't exactly in love with doing). Pretty soon we became inseparable and whether we were at work or off for the day we started doing everything together. Living life alongside each other has been such a privilege and gift. We couldn't be more opposite in so many areas, but we sure do balance each other out. Brendon's "extremes" bring excitement and pazzazz to our lives and my so-called "Stone cold" temperament brings stability and reason to the decisions we make together. As the old saying goes, we really do sharpen each other as iron sharpens iron. Our modern world can be tough to navigate at times, but knowing that we're in this together brings comfort and security to both of our lives. As our marriage sets sail, we don't ask for much, just a cozy home in the woods, a cat and dog that get along, plenty of time with our family, and God willing, lots of babies. It feels a little surreal that we are on the verge of getting married, and we are so excited to have each of you (hand-selected) VIPs share in this special day with us. If for whatever reason you are unable to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event, we understand, but just know you're gonna be missing the banger of the century.
