It all began thanks to a little matchmaking from a dear friend — and cousin — Byars Brown. Byars introduced us, and we first met at the R.A. Brown Ranch Horse Sale. From that day forward, we never missed a single day of talking to each other. Daily phone calls quickly became the highlight of our days, and we spent every weekend we could together. Our first date was simple but meaningful — an early breakfast followed by church. Later that afternoon, Waitley came over, and Brendi cooked a late lunch. We spent the rest of the evening talking and getting to know one another even more deeply. Because of Waitley’s rodeo schedule, our relationship has taken us on adventures across the country. Each trip brought new memories and reminded us how blessed we are to share life’s journey side by side. As we prepare to begin this new chapter as husband and wife, we are thankful for the path that brought us together and the love that continues to grow between us. With God at the center of our marriage, we look forward to a lifetime of faith, laughter, and adventure. “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12
