Access to the internet was a privilege for Brenden and Kirsten as kids, and their parents taught them to be safe and never to talk to strangers! So they did what kids do best — didn’t listen to that advice. A young Brenden decided to send a message to a girl halfway across the country, on a silly little website called Tumblr. Neither one knew this was the beginning of forever. The two fell in young love, hard and fast. With courage they told their parents they met someone, online, who they had never physically met. What can only be described as a “God thing,” the Hovers and the Beshores decided to let their children meet in person. They exchanged their first hug and kiss at the Baltimore Airport (romantic, right?). Thus began countless flights from Dallas to Philly, longing hellos and tearful goodbyes. After 9 long years of 1,470 miles between them, Brenden asked Kirsten to be his forever. The distance between the two is now a mere 0.0 miles, and they are ready to continue forever, closer than ever.
