We're Getting Married!

Brenden and Callie met at their church, Midtown Baptist Church. They were friends for a while and would see each other at group events and activities. Callie had a crush on Brenden since summer 2024 but Brenden was completely unaware. In his defense, Callie wasn’t exactly making it super clear. She did have some excellent wing women that would help her out by putting Brenden and Callie next to each other during group events. At the end of October, Callie was in charge of organizing the church potluck. She asked Brenden and some others to help with set up and then offered for people to come cook at her house since she lived close by. Brenden was the only one that needed to cook. This was the first time they got to really talk and spend one-on-one time together. Later at the potluck, one of the amazing wing women asked what Brenden had done that day. After hearing that he had spent time with Callie, she gently suggested that he ask Callie out. Brenden started texting Callie the next day and they had their first date that week. Brenden knew from the first date that he wanted to marry Callie. Callie was cautiously optimistic but also felt that Brenden could be the one. After just a short time together, the two knew this was it. Wedding planning commenced and they got engaged. They are so grateful and excited to be together and for how the Lord orchestrated everything in His perfect timing.
