Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please keep in mind our ceremony will be between the vines and will involve walking on grass when making shoe choices.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to be able to provide everyone with a plus one, we need to limit attendance to those addressed on the invitations. Thank you for understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We've negotiated great rates at 2 nearby hotels (with transportation between the hotel and wedding provided for all 2 locations). You can find links to our room blocks on the Travel tab of our website.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing shuttles to and from the hotels. Please see the travel section of our website for more details. The shuttle will go to the Hilton at 4:15pm and then will go to Foxwoods at 4:30pm before heading to the venue.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! There will be a section to include any food allergies/sensitivities on the RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available at Jonathan Edwards Winery.

Will there be any COVID restrictions/requirements for the wedding?

Answer

We are hoping for everything to be "back to normal" by the time our wedding comes around but the past year has shown us that nothing is truly predictable. That being said, for the comfort and safety of others, we are asking our guests to provide either proof of vaccination or negative PCR test 72 hours prior to our wedding.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outdoors. Please keep in mind the ceremony will be on grass when making footwear decisions!

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

Our wedding colors are sage green and navy blue. The bridesmaids will be wearing sage green and the groomsmen will be wearing navy blue.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

You can do that right here on our website! The RSVP tab of our website will be available once the invitations go out and the deadline to RSVP is July 20, 2022.

Can I take and post photos on social media?

Answer

We kindly request that you not take any photos during the ceremony (we're having an unplugged ceremony), but afterwards, we encourage you to take photos and tag us on social media. We will be sharing ceremony photos taken by our incredible photographer after the wedding.
