FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to our wedding planner, Elana Walker, at (919) 753-8624.
Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

We love your kids—we REALLY do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Therefore children will NOT be allowed at the wedding. Enjoy yourself!

Question

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. African attire is also welcome!

Question

CAN I BRING A DATE

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not indicated on your invitation, then you CANNOT bring a guest/date. We have very limited seating and space especially given the pandemic.

Question

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #BRENNA2022 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

Do we really have to be vaccinated against COVID19?

Answer

Yes Please. We understand this is an unusual request but given the current pandemic, we have to require that everyone be vaccinated. Nnenna is an essential worker and needs to finish her fellowship training on time. ( I only get 5 sick days a year y'all) To mitigate her and others' risk of getting this infection we ask that everyone be vaccinated and receive at least one booster dose prior to attending our wedding. Thank you all so much for your cooperation. We will be checking at the door for proof of vaccinations. Please bring your vaccination card or copy of the file to the wedding.
