We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Brendan and I met at Cumberland High School, I think our first class together was in 2010... algebra II. We had a few classes together in high school, but were never close. It wouldn't be until after high school that our relationship really began. During my fall semester at URI in 2012, Brendan drove down to take me on a date (Gregg's restaurant, on what was probably one of the crappiest weather days of the year... Bren hydro-planed in his truck on his drive down to get me - something he has never let me forget). After our date, I wasn't really sure if I wanted a boyfriend or not, so we kind of drifted and did not talk as often. Fast forward one year, my sophomore year at URI, and we somehow got back in touch. I will give it to Brendan, he would not give up on us, something I'm forever grateful for (and time and time again feel like a jerk about ghosting him after that first date). On New Year's Eve (2013 into 2014) I decided to attend a party where I knew Brendan would be, I had been telling him that I was not going to it, so when I walked through the door it was definitely a surprise! To say that he was excited would be an understatement, and to say that I wasn't ecstatic about his reaction would also be one. Since that night, Brendan and I have been inseparable. Over the past 7 years we have learned so much about one another, and found that we have more in common than we would have ever guessed (or at least I would have). We have been through so much together, been on some great adventures, picked up new hobbies, and have watched each other achieve some amazing milestones throughout the past 7 years. Our love for travel, the outdoors, and the state of Maine is what has drawn us to get married there. We are so happy that you will be there to celebrate with us!
