Mariah & Brendan

FAQs

Question

When did we meet?

Answer

January 14th 2020 at LPU-VA

Question

What are our ages?

Answer

By the time the wedding day comes around, Brendan will be 21 and Mariah will be 20.

Question

How did he propose?

Answer

We went on vacation to the Outer Banks in North Carolina in March 2021. The house we were staying at had a crow's nest deck on the roof. On the second night, Brendan suggested we star gaze on the roof. As we were gazing at the stars, he suggests we slow dance to Mariah's favorite romantic song. A few minutes later he was down on one knee and she was screaming. Many happy tears were shed that night.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Not black tie but also not ripped jeans and a t-shirt. Find your happy medium :)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The details of whether or not you are able to bring a plus one will be in your RSVP Form in the RSVP tab on this website!

Question

Why did I get invited to a Facebook group titled "Mariah & Brendan's Wedding live stream"?

Answer

Due to Covid-19, our wedding venue has cut back on the capacity of the space. We would have everyone who has watched us grow up and shaped our lives come to celebrate with us if we could. Thank you for understanding. If you are curious as to whether or not you will be one of the few who will be an in-person guest, the RSVP page on this website will be able to tell you. Follow the directions to 'RSVP' until you get to where it will either say "virtual wedding ceremony" or "in-person Wedding". If you find both, this means you have the option.

Question

Can I watch the live online ceremony with anyone?

Answer

Yes of course! Feel free to watch with your family! We do ask that you do not share our live online ceremony on facebook or any other social media. We prefer to keep our special day special and between family.
