We're getting married!

Lauren and Brendan’s love story began on a golf course in high school, where a chance meeting set the stage for a lifelong connection. Despite attending different colleges—Lauren in Colorado and Brendan in Washington—their bond remained unbroken, strengthened by years of flirty exchanges and dates. After college, life took them on separate journeys, with Lauren moving across the country for her career and Brendan dividing his time between Colorado and Arizona. Yet, no matter how far they wandered, they never lost touch. Their paths finally converged during the Covid pandemic. With Colorado’s restrictions and their busy work schedules, dating became an adventure of early bird dinners and parking lot hangouts. It was in these unconventional moments that they truly fell in love. The next few years were spent joyfully splitting time between Colorado and Arizona, enjoying the best of both worlds together. In 2022, the stars aligned in more ways than one. The Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup, Denver University clinched the National Championship, and Brendan decided it was time to take their relationship to the next level. On October 23rd, 2022, at Castle Pines Golf Club, Lauren found herself on the 18th green, nervously six-putting her way to a moment she would never forget. Brendan, equally nervous, was waiting with a ring, so excited that he dropped it right into her hand instead of placing it on her finger. Since that unforgettable day, Lauren and Brendan have taken some major career changes and moved to Chicago, where they share a beautiful life with their puppy, Charlie, who has become their whole world. Now, they are thrilled to celebrate their love with family and friends in Mexico, marking the next chapter of their journey together.
