Question

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

All individuals who are not vaccinated are required to wear masks at this time.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although it was a tough decision there will be no kids allowed at the reception. Kids will be invited to attend the ceremony. Please let us know in advance if you plan on having your child attend the ceremony so that we can assure there will be enough seating. Guests that are planning on attending and will need to bring their children, there is a day care service available for guests to use during the wedding. This service is provided and located at Hope Lake Lodge. Please call the hotel for the daily rate.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please see the accommodations tab located at the top of the website. This will provide you with the information to reserve a room at Hope Lake Lodge. Reservations are due by September 7th, 2021.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at Hope Lake Lodge. All the events will take place in the same location as those who will be staying at Hope Lake Lodge.

Do you have a wedding Hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Its #kristasaysIDOherty. Please use this while posting any photos on social media. Also, if anyone is interested please download the app called "the guest". This will give us a chance to reflect back on our day with all of you! The event code is DOHERTY2021.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions, please include this on your RSVP card in the dietary restriction area.

What are the dinner options?

Answer

Guests are welcome to choose four of the following dishes. (Please indicate on your RSVP card which dish you'd like along with your initials). 1.) BEEF- Grilled Sirloin served with rosemary garlic mashed potatoes over a bed of wilted kale blend 2.) VEGETARIAN- Balsamic Marinated Portobello Mushroom served with linguini. Prepared with spinach, goat cheese and roasted red peppers. Drizzled with a balsamic fig glaze. 3.) FISH- Smokey maple salmon served with a mixture of cannelloni beans & quinoa over a bed of wilted spinach. 4.) CHICKEN- Gouda stuffed chicken served with rosemary garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable medley. Prepared with a white wine sauce.

How many people did you invite/ how many will be attending?

Answer

We invited about 134 people, and expect about 80-85 people will be attending the wedding.
