Brendan and Kionna's first encounter was nothing short of a comedic disaster during a game night at their mutual friend Lauren’s house. As everyone scrambled to follow the rules of a particularly convoluted card game, where Brendan got an idea of Kionna’s personality. Later that week another mutual friend (Josh) jokingly suggested they should date, but Kionna, not missing a beat, shot back with a playful "No thanks!" A twist of fate came when Kionna later reached out to Brendan, curious to hang out. Their connection grew stronger as they bonded over late-night watching of The Witcher, arguing about who was the best character and sharing inside jokes about the show. By December, after a fun movie date with friends, Brendan nervously took the leap and asked Kionna to be his girlfriend. To his relief, Kionna’s face lit up with a smirk, and she said “yes!” marking the start of a new chapter together. Brendan would then invite her a few days later to meet his entire family over Christmas! The happy couple has been attached at the hip ever since. Fast forward to the summer of 2023 they welcomed their first child Maggie into the world! Now the winter of 2024 Brendan made sure to slide a ring right onto Kionna’s finger! They are beyond excited to start their married lives together!
