Travel

The Wedding Website of Kelsey Glastetter and Brendan Mooney
Traveling in and around the Eastern Sierra can pose challenges. To navigate the snowy conditions safely, having an all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicle is strongly advised. It is highly recommended—and occasionally required by Caltrans—to carry chains for your vehicle, especially if you have two-wheel drive. June Lake gets a lot of winter tourism. Book your lodging early and we HIGHLY recommend you stay somewhere in the Village (between June Lake and Gull Lake). We have some recommendations below for you to consider. If you have any questions about lodging, feel free to reach out and we will provide our input. There are no Ubers or transportation options so staying in the village is a great option as you can walk everywhere and the ski resort is a quick 3-minute drive. If you decide to stay down canyon, please have a designated driver if you plan to drink to keep yourself, our friends, family, and community safe. Thank you in advance!

Skip the Airbnb or VRBO Fee

June Lake, CA

Staying in a house, condo, or cabin with a group is a great idea. You can skip the fees from Airbnb or VRBO by checking out local property management websites. Most of the places listed on Airbnb or VRBO can be found on June Lake Accommodations, June Lake Premier Reservations, or Rainbow Ridge Reservations without having to pay the Airbnb fee. Remember to try and find a place in the June Lake Village. Heads up, the Interlaken condos will require a drive.
